Tool and
Report Terms
These terms cover our free online tools and the reports they produce. They are short on purpose. Using a tool means you have read and accepted them.
Working with us on paid work instead? That is covered by the terms of engagement.
01Who these terms cover
- (a)These terms are between Unveil Development Partners [ABN 35 626 497 701] ("Unveil") and the person or business using a free online tool provided by Unveil ("You").
- (b)They apply to the tool, the questions in it, and any report or output it produces ("Report").
- (c)You accept these terms when you start the tool or submit your details to receive a Report.
- (d)Where you go on to engage Unveil for paid work, Unveil's Terms of Engagement (UVL-TERMS-01) apply to that work.
02What the tool is
- (a)The tool is a free self-assessment. You answer questions about your business and receive a Report based on your answers.
- (b)The Report is a starting point for a conversation. It is not an audit, not a formal valuation, and not a substitute for professional advice.
- (c)The Report is not legal, financial, accounting, taxation, or investment advice. You make your own decisions and should seek independent professional advice before acting.
03Accuracy and estimates
- (a)The Report is built only from the answers and figures you supply. Unveil does not verify them.
- (b)Any dollar figures, ranges, valuations, benchmarks, ratings, or scores in the Report are estimates only. They are general in nature and do not take account of your full circumstances.
- (c)The estimates are not a formal valuation, not an Opinion of Value, and not a financial product recommendation. They do not guarantee any outcome, sale price, or market condition.
- (d)Where your answers indicate the business is not profitable, dollar and valuation figures are not shown.
- (e)To the extent permitted by law, Unveil is not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on the Report.
- (f)Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
04Your information
- (a)To receive a Report, you provide contact details and answers about your business.
- (b)Unveil uses that information to produce and send the Report, to follow up with you about it, and to send you related material. You can opt out of follow-up contact at any time.
- (c)Unveil handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
- (d)Unveil may use your answers and results in aggregated and de-identified form for benchmarking, research, and service development. Nothing that identifies you or your business is published without your written consent.
- (e)Unveil uses third-party platforms to host tools, store responses, and send communications. Your information may also be handled under those providers' privacy policies.
- (f)Unveil uses artificial intelligence and automated tools to produce Reports.
- (g)Unveil does not use information that identifies you to train any third-party model.
- (h)You can ask Unveil to access, correct, or delete your information by contacting us at admin@unveildp.com.
05Ownership and use
- (a)Unveil owns the tool, the questions, the scoring, the frameworks behind it, and the format of the Report.
- (b)Your answers and your business information remain yours.
- (c)You may use, keep, and share the Report inside your own business, and with your own advisers.
- (d)You may not copy, resell, republish, or build a competing tool from the tool, its questions, its scoring, or the Report.
06Availability
- (a)The tool is provided as is and free of charge. Unveil may change, pause, or withdraw it at any time.
- (b)Unveil does not warrant that the tool will be available without interruption or free of error.
07General
- (a)Unveil may update these terms. The version published with the tool at the time you use it is the version that applies.
- (b)If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest continues to apply.
- (c)These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
