## What Unveil does

Unveil works with owner-run businesses that have reached the point where everything runs through the owner. Unveil measures where value is stalling, then builds the strategy, systems, leadership, structure and financial modelling that let the business grow past the founder and be handed over.

Engagements start with a free diagnostic. The client keeps the report whether or not they go further.

## The SPECS model

SPECS is Unveil's five zone model for measuring how transferable a business is outside its area of specialisation. The premise: the architecture built around the specialisation is what makes a business transferable.

- Strategy: where the business is going, and whether the plan to get there holds up.
- People: leadership, capability and succession across the team.
- Execution: how reliably the work gets done without the owner driving it.
- Capital: financial modelling, cash and the numbers behind the growth.
- Structure: ownership, governance and the shape of the organisation.

A SPECS diagnostic produces a score for each zone. From there Unveil builds an action plan covering the next 6 to 24 months, built for the specific business.
